Ayperi & Adira are belly dance teachers and performers based in Portland Maine. They formed Maine Wedding Belly Dance to help brides-to-be in southern Maine to create elegant, lively and unforgettable weddings.
We will work with you to tailor your experience to your unique wishes. You can read the descriptions below and call or email us to discuss your wedding celebration and answer any questions at all that you may have.

Bachelorette Party / Girls' Night
Get a shimmy on with good girlfriends!
Everyone can belly dance -- we will create a lively, supportive and loving circle for the bride-to-be starting her new life journey.
A short performance (10-15 minutes) will be followed by a mini class (45 minutes) to get everyone up and dancing with the bride-to-be.
Music and jingly hip scarves are provided -- you bring your body and a sense of fun. To commemorate this gathering of women friends, the cd of music used during the party is yours to keep.
Starting at $225 + $35 per hour driving charge outside the Portland peninsula.
Bridal Shower

A gathering of family and friends honoring the bride to be is enhanced by the communal spirit of belly dance, which originated to celebrate the transitions in a woman's life.
A short performance (10-15 minutes) will be followed by a mini class (45 minutes). To commemorate this gathering, the cd of music used during the party is yours to keep.

An elegant and unforgettable belly dance performance honors the new couple and gets everyone up and dancing!
The performance will be uniquely tailored to your celebration and may include veil, cane and finger cymbals.
Among other lively and enchanting dances, a candle dance symbolizes the joining of two life lights into one.
Starting at $350 + $35 per hour driving charge outside the Portland peninsula.
Standard contracts for Maine Wedding Belly Dance are available for download here. Your contract will be tailored to your unique event.
Maine Wedding Belly Dance accepts checks, cash, and credit cards via Paypal. Once you have communicated the essential information to us, a 50% deposit reserves your date. The standard fees are available as click-to-pay below. Other arrangements are available upon request.
